Double Chocolate Treasures

2 c Flour

3/4 c Cocoa

1 ts Baking soda

1/2 ts Salt

1 c Butter, softened

2/3 c White sugar

2/3 c Light brown sugar, packed

1 ts Vanilla

2 Eggs

1 pk 10 oz large semisweet

Chocolate pieces or 2 - 12 Oz packages small pieces 3/4 c Chopped pecans or other nuts

Preheat oven to 350F. In a small bowl, combine flour, cocoa, soda, and salt and set aside. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter with sugars, vanilla, and then add eggs. Mix flour mixture with butter mixture. Add chocolate and nuts. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for 9-12 minutes. Very rich and very good.
