White Texas Sheet Cake

1 | cup | water | |
2 | cup | flour | |
2 | cup | sugar | |
2 | each | eggs, beaten | |
1 1/4 | cup | sour cream | |
1 | teaspoon | salt | |
1 | teaspoon | almond extract | |
1 | teaspoon | baking soda | |

1 1/4 | cup | butter OR margarine | |
1 1/2 | cup | milk | |
2 | teaspoon | almond extract | |
1 | cup | walnuts OR pecans | |
4 1/2 | cup | confectioners sugar | |
Directions: | |||
Melt margarine and water in saucepan. Remove from heat and stir in flour, sugar, eggs, sour cream, extract, salt, and baking soda. Beat until smooth. Pour into greased 15x10 inch pan and bake at 375 degrees 20-22 minutes. Cool. Frosting: Heat margarine & milk, then mix in remaining ingredients. |
