Barbecue Sauce

Combine all except water in a large, heavy saucepan. Pour the water into the catsup bottle and shake then add to the pot. Bring to a boil stirring constantly, reduce heat and simmer until onions and bell pepper are very tender, about 2 hours. Stir occasionally.

Preheat oven to 350F. Grease three layer pans and line with double thickness of wax paper. Mix dry ingredients together. Add remaining liquid ingredients. Mix until creamy and smooth. Bake for thirty minutes.

Strawberry Coffeecake I

Mix together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Add milk, eggs and melted butter; stir well. Pour the batter into a 9-inch square baking pan. Top with strawberries. Sprinkle Topping over strawberries. Bake at 375 degrees F for 30 to 35 minutes. Mix together until crumbly.

Tomato and Basil Crostini

Allow the tomatoes to drain in a colander for 30 minutes. Toast the slices of bread and rub each with garlic. Combine the tomatoes with the remaining ingredients in a small bowl and divide between the slices of toast. Serve immediately. Serves 4 to 6.
