Dried Fruit Sauce For Fresh Fruit


1/2 cup water and apple juice
1/2 cup dried cherries
1 confectioner s sugar or
1 honey to taste

Bring water and apple juice to a boil; pour over cherries and steep
for as long as possible. Sweeten to taste if need be with sugar or
honey. Serve hot over ice cream, fresh fruit or cake.

Yield: 1 cup
