Oatmeal Muffins Crouse

Ingredients
 

2 cup oatmeal
1 1/2 cup sour milk
2 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp shortening
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda

Preparation
 
Soak oatmeal in sour milk overnight. In morning add the other
ingredients. Chopped dates or raisins may be added. Bake 25 minutes.
Makes 14 muffins.

Note: Assume hot oven 400 - 450 F.

Old Fashion White Bread
