Almond Milk

Ingredients
 
  • 1/2 cup raw blanched or slivered almonds
  • 2 cups filtered warm water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla or almond extract (optional)

Preparation
 

Place almonds in a blender. At highspeed add water and blend for severalminutes or until all solids are pulverized.Add extract and sweetener if desired.Strain through a piece of cheeseclothor fine sieve if a thinner consistency isdesired. Chill for several hours.

Honey Garlic BBQ Sauce
