Barbecue Ground Beef
| Ingredients | |||
| 1 | pound | beef, ground | |
| 1 | tablespoon | shortening | |
| 1 | cup | onion, finely chopped | |
| 1 | cup | bell pepper, green, finely chopped | |
| 1 | tablespoon | sugar | |
| 2 | tablespoon | mustard, prepared | |
| 1 | tablespoon | vinegar | |
| 1 | tablespoon | salt | |
| 1 | cup | ketchup | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | cloves, ground | |
Directions: | |||
| Brown meat in shortening slowly until crumbly. Combine remaining ingredients and add to meat. Cover and simmer about 30 minutes. Serves 6 to 8. | |||
