Smoked Sausage Italian Bean Soup
2 ts Olive oil 1 lb Smoked sausage or Polska -Kielbasa, sliced -Beef, Lite, or Turkey 1 c Chopped onion 1 cn Tomatoes, crushed (28oz can) 3 1/2 c Water 2 Cubes chicken bouillon 1 c Small pasta shells, uncooked -(4 oz) 1 cn Kidney beans, drained (18oz) 1. In soup kettle or 4-quart saucepan heat oil over medium heat. Add sausage and onion; saute 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. 2. Add tomatoes (with juices), water and bouillon; bring to a boil 3. Add pasta and beans. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer until pasta is tender, about 15 minutes. Serve |
