Hoot `N Holler Whiskey Cake

1/2 c Butter

1 c Sugar

3 Eggs

1 c All-purpose flour

1/2 ts Baking powder

1/4 ts Salt

1/2 ts Nutmeg

1/4 c Milk

1/4 c Molasses

1/4 ts Baking soda

1 lb Golden raisins

2 c Pecans; chopped

1/4 c Jim bean

Or jack daniels Cream butter with sugar and the eggs. Mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, and add it to the butter mixture. Then add the milk. Put the baking soda into the molasses and mix. Add it to the butter and milk mixture. Add the raisins, nuts and whiskey. Pour into a greased and floured loaf pan and bake 325 for 1 hr. and 30 min. (I test after 1 hr.) Keep leftover cake wrapped in foil, in the refrigerator. Michael Grosz -----
