Maple Syrup Pie

1 cup fresh maple syrup
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup light cream
1 tablespoon sweet butter
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
3 egg yolks, beaten
1 (9-inch) baked pie shellPour maple syrup in small saucepan and bring to boiling point. Add milk and cream; stir and cook over low heat. Do not boil. Add butter, vanilla extract and eggs; mix and cook over low heat until mixture thickens.Pour mixture into baked pie shell. Set aside.Preheat oven to 180 degrees F.Meringue
